Air Marshal William Avery “Billy” Bishop VC, CB, DS0 and Bar, MC, DFC, ED (8th February 1894 – 11th September 1956) was a First World War Canadian Flying ace and Victoria Cross recipient. He was officially credited with 72 victories, making him the top WWI Canadian ace.
This figure has been painted by the expert painter Stelios Neofitidis and published as article in Figure Modelling 20 by Mr Black Publications. He has used acrylics and the figure is mounted on a high quality pedestal wooden base. The figure is made from resin. The figure is strongly fitted to a wooden varnished base and has a scratch built groundwork.
